The rugged form and structure of coastline, cliffs, beaches and landscape constantly fascinate and amaze me and recently, reflections in wet sand have been a particular focus of my attention. The stunning beauty of the South Hams always provides inspiration and is the subject of much of my work. However, the natural wonders experienced in visits to my daughter in New Zealand have fuelled my imagination and whether at home or abroad, the great richness and splendour of our world never fails to provide me with inspiration for future paintings.
